My background spans front-end development, UX design, service design, and public sector product work. Over time, that work has moved increasingly toward improving complex systems shaped by operational, policy, and implementation constraints.

  • Design across service and product work in the Employment Insurance space.
  • Contribute to reporting flow improvements, service mapping, and employee-facing system updates.
  • Work with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to shape solutions that are both user-centered and operationally practical.

Oct 2021–Feb 2024

User Experience Designer

ISED Canada

  • Designed government service experiences within the Online Filing Center using the Canada.ca design system.
  • Created user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to support clearer navigation and more usable transactional experiences.
  • Worked closely with business teams and developers to refine designs, support implementation, and validate direction through testing.

  • Delivered lectures, assignments, and supporting material for the User Experience Design program.
  • Guided students through core UX concepts and provided one-on-one feedback on their work.
