Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, specifically through its impactful Corporations Canada program, serves as a linchpin in the regulation, oversight, and support of federal corporations in Canada. By fostering an environment conducive to business operations, innovation, and economic development, the department plays a vital role in shaping the corporate landscape of the country.

Corporations Canada offers a suite of essential services, including business registration and regulation, corporate database management, corporate compliance, policy development, and support for innovation and growth.

In my capacity as a UX Designer, I played a pivotal role in elevating the user experience within the incorporation service and expanding the platform's capabilities. Key accomplishments include enhancing the incorporation process, introducing features like saved request storage and resubmission tracking. Notable projects also encompassed introducing account features for managing corporations, including viewing, updating, and delegating access, thereby providing users with a comprehensive suite of tools.

Among my achievements were numerous smaller-scale projects, involving PDF updates and refining page processes. Throughout my tenure at Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, I crafted pixel-perfect hi-fidelity wireframes, developed functional prototypes, formulated research protocols for user testing, and actively conducted and synthesized user testing findings. These insights were then effectively presented to business partners and stakeholders, ensuring alignment between user-centric design and overarching business objectives.

Collaborating closely with business partners, I ensured that business needs were not only met but seamlessly integrated into an enhanced user experience, showcasing a commitment to delivering optimal solutions at the intersection of business requirements and user satisfaction.
